The Bible reminds us that, "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:12
Life groups are not a new concept. Small groups were an integral part of the early church. Christ modeled a small group ministry in his interaction with the twelve disciples. In biblical times, groups of people ministered to each other as they learned Christian principles while being together. Strong relationships were formed as their faith grew, and they were a great testimony to the power of Christ's teaching.
L.I.F.E. is an acronym that defines what our small groups are all about: Love, Involvement, Fellowship, and Evangelism.
The essence of our small group ministry at NCC revolves around developing relationships, meeting needs of others, building our faith, and sharing the message of Christ. Life groups are upwardly focused toward God and outwardly focused toward others.
Our L.I.F.E. Groups typically run in two semesters (Fall & Winter) and break for the summer, with most groups ending in early to late May. There is more information about L.I.F.E. Groups near the Guest Services table located in the main entry way of the building.
