NCC Missions

The NCC Missions team is a group of people that help to glorify God by creating and cultivating healthy relationships between the church, the people in the church, and various missions that we support locally and globally. Below are the current 2024 Mission that NCC supports. More information can be found at www.teamexpansion.org and www.kindredexchange.org

American Indian Christian Mission

American Indian Christian Mission evangelizes and equips Native Americans. They focus on the following three areas: school, family, and community. They have a Christian boarding school for the Navajo and Apache nations where children spend the week at school and the weekends with their families. They minister to the entire family unit to show how Jesus sets them free from addictions and hopelessness. They provide a bus that picks up children in the community and takes them to the park for games and crafts.

Austin & Amanda Ganyo and Family

Mission Agency: Training Tomorrow's Leaders

Training Tomorrow's Leaders exists to facilitate the planting of new churches in western Africa by financially supporting indigenous church planters, training indigenous church planters, and facilitating projects that will enable new churches to be planted. They participate in community development by providing school and medical costs, helping with grants for small businesses, and drilling wells. They have a children's ministry that includes organizing Vacation Bible Schools and providing crayons, games, and other materials to churches. Training Tomorrow's Leaders currently works with 16 unreached people groups in 3 countries.

Camp Christian exists to exalt Jesus as the divine Son of God and Savior. It provides a quiet place to be still and know who God is. They provide summer camps for children from Kindergarten through High School, retreats for both men and women, and special luncheons and banquets during the year.

Good News Productions International has 27 teams in 16 countries.

His Place

His Place exists to overcome poverty and trauma and transform communities. His Place provides after school and summer programming for children that includes academic support and enrichment, social and emotional support, arts, recreation, and food. They have a family support center pantry that is available to supply food and household items to the community. They also meet with families to provide support and connect them to other available resources. They supported over 30 children last school year and 13 during the summer.

International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES)

IDES exists to meet physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. IDES has various staff members working out of their headquarters in Noblesville, Indiana; all of IDES volunteer opportunities are facilitated there. IDES serves in five main focus areas around the world: evangelism, disaster response, hunger relief, community development, and medical care.

Mission Agency: Christ for the City International

Christ for the City International exists to help people transform cities by transforming lives. Their vision is No Place without a Witness, No Church without a Vision, and No Person without Hope. Christ for the City International has over 500 missionaries in 15 countries. They provide both short-term and long-term missionary opportunities.

Jon & Danielle Snyder and Family

Mission Agency: Mission to El Salvador

Mission to El Salvador takes a holistic approach to address the physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of Salvadorans. They work with survivors of sexual trafficking, the homeless and poverty-stricken, and people recovering from addiction. They help their clients find dignifying work and provide job training and support for clients to start their own businesses. They offer a residential program for children from 10 - 17 who struggle with addiction. The children continue with their schoolwork while in the program.

Kathy Girton Pfaff

Mission Agency: Wellness in Christian Ministries

Kathy previously worked with several churches in the Dominican Republic and led missions teams to help with various needs, including construction and health education. She now uses her experience and education to provide counseling for missionaries, missionary candidates, and missionaries on re-entry. She uses her raised support to offer reduced rates for counseling.

Martin Sanders

Mission Agency: Gap Creek Columbia Mission (GCCM)

Forwarding Agent: Carrie Beth Lowe

GCCM reaches the people from the Plains Region of Columbia by planting churches like Villavicencio Christian Church and churches in more rural areas. Martin teaches Bible and Christian Ethics classes at the Peniel School and co-directs the school praise band. Martin is also heavily involved in the Villavicencio’s Church Camp.

Mission Agency: Outreach International

The Hixsons are currently working on creating and translating several projects in Chinese. They also minister to local, college-age group of Chinese nationals. They previously worked in China as missionaries with an unreached people group.

Pittsburgh Dream Center (previously known as Sonshine)

The Pittsburgh Dream Center meets tangible needs in communities to assist people in discovering and achieving their God-given purpose. Their outreaches include Adopt-A-Block where volunteers choose a block to provide help to their neighbors, supplies of food to children or others in need, and a one-year discipleship program for women. The Pittsburgh Dream Center ministers to over 1,0000 people each month.

Rapha International

Rapha International provides aftercare for survivors of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and abuse and also provides family preservation programs in vulnerable communities. Rapha has Survivor Care Campuses staffed by trained, local experts who work with children through comprehensive and trauma-informed care to help them reach a life of sustainable freedom. Rapha also has a Prevention Program with family and community services to prevent the exploitation of children. They provide education support, social work case management, food supplements, and emergency medical care.
