Get Up and Go: Give Thanks is an opportunity for K-4th Grade children and their families to interact with each other and participate in thematic activities focused on giving thanks to God. While this event is created especially for you and your K-4th grade student, ALL family members are welcome. Just remember the activities may seem a little simple for older siblings, and younger siblings may
need additional help completing them!
If you have any questions, please contact Allison Murray:

$5 Dollar Friday: Battle Zone in Latrobe
This special Sunday allows us to celebrate God’s “bundles of blessing” given to many of our families over the past year and to pray for them. It also provides an opportunity for their parents to dedicate themselves to this tremendous responsibility along with the support of the NCC congregation. If you’ve been blessed with a baby this past year and would like to participate, please note on your communicator card, the baby’s name, birth date and the morning service you will attend on that day, by November 24th.

Monday, November 18th is our Thanksgiving Potluck in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30am. Judy Glaze has volunteered to make a turkey again this year, so the rest of us can fill in with yummy side dishes. Linsy Wilson will be our guest, and she will be playing her banjo for us. Come with thankful hearts for a time of sharing.
Our next meal serving at Sonshine Community Ministries is on Monday, November 25th from 3:30-6:00pm. We always need volunteers, so let us know if you can help. Please join us, if you are 55+. We are very "young at heart" and would love to see new faces! If you have questions, please contact Barb Keller @ 814-952-1249 or

Camp Christian Christmas Banquets
The Norwin Ministerium has again invited us to come together with other believers from the various congregations in town and join as one, in shedding some “Christmas Light” to our community.
During the “Cookie Tour” in downtown Irwin on December 6th (sponsored by the Irwin business community), we will join together with others for some “old fashioned” Christmas Carol-ing; as we make our way through the streets of downtown Irwin, singing the songs of Christmas at designated areas - in a modern “flash mob” type gathering.
We will meet at the Irwin Presbyterian Church on Main St. at 5:30 pm for coffee, hot chocolate and donuts. At 6:00 pm, we will begin to make our journey through downtown Irwin, pausing periodically to sing the carols of Christmas, making our way to the end of our tour at the downtown Christmas tree, with our final set of carols. We will finish up at around 7 pm. If you are interested in sharing the message of Christmas in this manner, please indicate so on your Communicator Card. It will only take an hour or so of your evening – and you’ll probably get a few free cookies along the way – so let’s Reach OUT and Teach ALL to Follow Jesus… as Christmas Carolers!!
December 6 (6:00 - 7:00pm)
Christmas Caroling in Downtown Irwin
There are a number of messages that are voiced throughout the Christmas season... some words are spoken (“Merry Christmas!”) --- some sounds are heard (“do you hear what I hear?”). But what is the REAL MESSAGE of Christmas – as God would have us to know?!
During the month of December, we will be looking to the various messengers of God’s MESSAGE of Christmas, in hopes of being reminded of the One whose birth we commemorate at Christmas. Make plans to be present, to invite others to join with you, and to come together (beginning December 1st), as we look again to the Scriptures to remember (and perhaps to rediscover) the MESSAGE of Christmas, that… “A Child IS BORN”!
