Dressed in Joy will be an event hosted here at Norwin Christian Church on Saturday, February 22nd where girls from local communities will be able to shop for a dress and accessories for their special occasions, such as prom, winter formal, or homecoming.

We hope to ease the financial burden placed on families with teenage daughters by allowing their girls to pick out the perfect
dress for free.  Our goal is to make each and every girl we reach feel beautiful! Our Blessings Boutique is collecting donations for the Dressed in Joy event.  Donations (semi-formal dresses, shoes, and jewelry) can be dropped off at the church (office entrance) during these hours:

Sunday: 8:45 - 11:00 am
Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

For more information please contact: Heather Brown at 724-640-3037

Volunteers will also be needed for this Event!

We will need helpers before the event to set up, during the event, and after the event to tear down.  If you are able to help please follow the link below and fill out the attached Volunteer card and place it in the basket at the front entry welcome desk. In conjunction with our series of messages to welcome 2020, and our church-wide campaign with our devotional booklet; the Discovery class at 10 am for our adults will be based upon the “PRAYER-LIFE of JESUS”.  As we embark upon the new year, encouraging the entire congregation to do so “on our knees in prayer”; let’s also take some time on Sunday mornings to observe the “PRAYER-LIFE of JESUS”, while we prepare in anticipation of our VISION Sunday on January 26 - including our congregational meeting at 10 am hour.

Start  2020 with others in Prayer during our 10 am Discovery hour, as we walk (and talk) through TOGETHER the “PRAYER-LIFE of JESUS”!
